Physiotherapist - Chris Patel MSc. MCSP

Having qualified from the University of East London with a first class honours degree in physiotherapy in 1993, Chris worked in acute, rehabilitation and long-term care settings. She has specialised in neurology since 1995 and enjoys helping people deal with and come to terms with their conditions.

With a background in 24-hour postural care and wheelchair management, she takes a keen interest in supporting people to live at home to the best of their abilities, despite a neurological problem. She also offers a service to local nursing and care home residents who require help with their mobility and function.  

She has subsequently carried out a Masters degree in Physiotherapy, graduating in 2003 with a distinction.

She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.  All members have followed an approved course in physiotherapy. www.csp.org.uk

She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council,  which sets standards for health professionals related to their training, behaviour and professional skills.     www.hcpc-uk.co.uk

She is a member of ACPIN (www.acpin.net) the professional network for physiotherapists working within neurology and AGILE, the professional network for therapists working with older people.
